Today, as a WelcomHotel The Savoy, it stands in all its glory, ready to turn the clock back in time for the connoisseur of fine living.
Savoy hotel offered a designer the opportunity of a lifetime. Being arguably constructed in AD 1902, it went on to become the most sought-after hotel in what was for many years the fun capital of the country during the days of the Raj and for the decades that followed thereafter.
The hotel was now in complete shambles, both in structure and spirit. The very fact that the younger generation had not even heard of the Savoy. Hence, the ambition was not just to recreate the ambiance, but to recreate it in such a way that it makes a re-entry into society’s subconsciousness. Savoy is a heritage, but it was the heritage of fun, which makes it even more unique.
Fabinteriors finished the interior designing of Savoy Mussoorie in the year 2013. The end product is a hotel which rejuvenates & refreshes you. It is a wonderful blend of classical design which is rich & luxurious and yet doesn’t become overbearing for a moment.
